Nominees for Elections

Online Voting of Society Officers begins on November 11, 2013 following the Assembly of Delegates. All eligible members will be able to vote for the President-elect and Treasurer positions while voting for other open positions is based on your chapter affiliation. Each chapter is assigned to a specific region and constituency within Sigma Xi. You will be able to vote for the open positions only in the region and constituency that is assigned to your chapter. Members affiliated as At-Large will vote for open positions in the Membership-at-Large Constituency.

Voting will take place online for President-elect (term begins July 1, 2014), Treasurer (term begins July 1, 2014), Directors (terms begin July 1, 2014), Associate Directors (terms begin July 1, 2014) and Society Nomination Committee members (terms begin at the conclusion of the voting period). The electronic polls will remain open for 30 days and members must cast their ballot by 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on December 10, 2013. All sustaining members of Sigma Xi will receive instructions on how to cast their vote for the open elected positions in their region and/or constituency. Results of the elections will be announced on the Society’s website and in other membership communications.
