What Is the Student Research Conference?
The Student Research Conference is an opportunity for high school, undergraduate, and graduate students to:
- present a research poster and compete for a medal, monetary award, and a year of free membership dues in Sigma Xi;
- advance science communication skills;
- hear from distinguished scientists and engineers such as Jeff Dean and Sigma Xi award winners;
- attend career training sessions;
- engage in interactive dialogues on key ethical challenges of data usage.
All presenting students are nominated to membership in Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Honor Society.
