Welcome to registration for the Sigma Xi Annual Meeting & International Research Conference. The Annual Meeting conducts the business of the Society through chapter delegate representation. The International Research Conference features professional, undergraduate and graduate student poster presentations in all fields of science and engineering.
Online registration is now closed. On-site registration will open on Wednesday afternoon, November 5 at the Renaissance Glendale Hotel. On-site registration is available only to General Participants and Non-presenting Students. Chapter Delegates and Presenting Students are not able to register on-site due to the pre-approval requirements.
Student Presenters
Students who wish to present their research must complete a 2-step registration and abstract submission process.
Student Expenses
Students can anticipate expenses to include registration fees, hotel, travel, some meals, ground transportation, etc.

Friday, November 7 | The award presentation and lecture will follow the dinner.Included with registration. Tickets will be provided only to those who select the option to attend the event during online registration. |
| Power-up Breakfast
Saturday, November 8 | Students, Exhibitors and Judges prepare for the student poster competition by powering up with a light continental breakfast. The Judge orientation will be conducted during breakfast.Included with student, exhibitor and judge registrations. |
| Young Investigator Award Lecture and Luncheon
Saturday, November 8 | The award presentation and lecture will follow the luncheon.Included with registration. Tickets will be provided only to those who select the option to attend the event during online registration. |
| Sigma Xi Banquet
Saturday, November 8 | The Saturday evening banquet is the capstone of an exciting conference featuring the induction of the 2014 Honorary Members. Enjoy an evening of fine dining, conversation, music and a cash bar.Tickets are US$65 each and required to attend the banquet (optional event). |

| Bus Transportation to the Airport
Sunday, November 9 | Bus Tickets are US15 each and can be purchased during online registration. Sigma Xi will arrange for buses to take attendees from the hotel to the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) immediately following the conclusion of the final Assembly of Delegates on Sunday morning. A ticket is required to board the bus. |
Registration Payments & Receipts
Payments may be made by Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover credit card. Chapter Designated Delegates may use Chapter EFT. Contact meeting@sigmaxi.org for other payment options. Receipts will be included in each registrant's packet on-site at the meeting.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
- To receive a full refund of registration fees, written notification of the cancellation must be sent to meeting@sigmaxi.org by Monday, November 3, 2014.
- Effective Tuesday, November 4, 2014, a $25 processing fee will be deducted from all approved refunds.
- Requests for refunds of optional event tickets purchased will be accepted through Monday, November 3, 2014.
- Refund requests for registration fees only will be accepted through December 15, 2014.
- Pro-rating of fees based on the proportion of the meeting attended cannot be authorized.
- Sigma Xi reserves the right to refuse refund requests.

Photographs may be taken during the meeting. These photographs will be the property of Sigma Xi and may be placed on our website or in promotional collateral.
