How much will it cost?

Registration Fee: $150.00 for Sigma Xi members; $200.00 for non-members

Airfare: Varies by location

Taxi between RDU airport and Sheraton Raleigh Hotel: $45.00 each way

Room at the Sheraton Raleigh Hotel: $146.09 per night (includes taxes and fees). The hotel group rate is available until October 9, subject to availability.

Meals: Included on Saturday, November 11

How can I acquire funds to attend?

• Institutional grants may be available; check with your advisor

• Organizational travel grants (i.e. National Science Foundation, National Institutes of Health, or others)

• Friends and family may be willing to offer support

• Ask Sigma Xi for funds from the Sponsor a Student option. Email meeting@sigmaxi.org to request funds. 

When is the deadline to register?

• Registration deadline: October 27

• Abstract deadline for program book: September 15

• Abstract deadline for program update: October 20
