2016–2017 Chapter Program of Excellence Awards

Chapter Program of Excellence Awards were given to the following chapters for organizing and/or hosting a single outstanding program, especially one which other chapters can emulate. Nominees were reviewed by the Regional and Constituency Directors based on Chapter Annual Reports, and winners were selected by the Committee on Qualifications and Membership.

Award-winning chapters for 2016–2017:

  1. University of Nebraska at Kearney for the Great American Solar Eclipse Panel Discussion

  2. North Shore for the Marine/oceanography cruise and sampling workshop on the Sea Shuttle's Endeavor 

  3. Ohio State University for the Meet a Scientist program
