Sigma Xi's mission is to promote the public understanding of science. The Society is giving subscriptions of American Scientist to high schools to provide a credible source of scientific information for students and teachers in classrooms. This effort is primarily funded through generous donations during Sigma Xi’s annual Giving Tuesday campaign in the fall.
