Statement

I have been a member of Sigma Xi for twenty years and over that period of time I have often reflected on what I believe to be the strengths of our Society. I remain convinced that these strengths include its interdisciplinary nature, public outreach and education of science, promotion of integrity in science, funding of research through grants and most importantly, our support of the new generations of young scientists.  My goal on the nomination committee would be to assist the committee in finding individuals who will be capable of enhancing these strengths and effectively keep Sigma Xi moving into an exciting future.
