Statement
I am proud to be an active member of Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Honor Society. As one of the largest multi-disciplinary scientific societies in the world and we offer the perfect environment for the free exchange of ideas across all of the research disciplines. As a member and current North Central Associate Director for Sigma Xi, I believe that it is our duty to actively engage with our professional societies especially those, which embrace the entirety of science and not just a single discipline. I pledge to work effectively with the North Central Director and the Board to help the Society achieve its critical annual goals and objectives, which in turn, support our vision, mission, and new strategic plan. I am committed to helping build membership, enhancing the support of the research enterprise, and promoting the public’s understanding of science and how it improves the human condition.
