A Sigma Xi member is among the 37 students selected for graduate fellowships in 2019–20 by the Fellowship Board of the engineering honor society, Tau Beta Pi.
Rachel K. O'Sullivan, a biomedical engineering student at Northwestern University, rose to the top of the applicants for her high scholarship, campus leadership and service, and promise of future contributions to the engineering profession.
She will receive a cash stipend of $10,000 for her advanced study.
Nearly 340 students applied for this year's fellowships.
