Delegates to the Annual Meeting

The secretary informs Sigma Xi's Headquarters of the chapter's designated (voting) delegate to the Annual Meeting. It is preferred that the intended delegate is reported via the chapter's annual report which is submitted online and due by August 15 each year. Delegate information is also accepted via e-mail at chapters@sigmaxi.org or by calling 1-800-243-6534. It is recommended that delegates be nominated at the same time as new officers are elected. Delegates must be active (dues-paid) members

The chapter may have up to two additional delegates. Additional delegates must satisfy the same requirements as the designated delegate. Additional delegate(s) may be reported to the Headquarters via e-mail or phone. 

Representation at an Annual Meeting at least once in the last three years is one of the Good Standing requirements of each chapter in order to receive Local Support payments. Local Support will be withheld, if a chapter is not in Good Standing.
