Dear Educators and Students,

Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Society is delighted to announce that the deadline for the 2016 Student Research Showcase has been extended to 11:59 PM EDT on Monday, April 4, 2016. This innovative opportunity is open to high school, undergraduate, and graduate students. 

The Student Research Showcase is an online science communication competition for participants to create a presentation website that includes a personal video, research abstract, and technical slide presentation. Judging will take place on April 11–18, 2016. During the judging period, students are engaged with professionals who evaluate the presentations and provide feedback. Prizes are awarded to top presenters. Monetary awards are given to the top graduate, undergraduate, and high school winners within each category. All student presenters will receive a certificate of participation.
