American Scientist, a century-old magazine that publishes popular articles written by scientists and engineers, is strongly represented in the latest annual collection of the best articles about math.
Princeton University Press publishes The Best Writing on Mathematics. The book is in its sixth edition, edited by Mircea Pitici of Cornell University, and highlights meaningful insights and perspectives from the math world. American Scientist published four of the 29 articles selected for the 2015 volume:
American Scientist’s illustrated articles are about science, engineering, and technology. Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Society has published American Scientist since 1913. Copies may be found at Barnes & Noble locations and newsstands.
