STEM Outreach Programs
There are numerous STEM Outreach programs for chapters to encourage member engagement and involvement in their local communities. Chapters may choose to organize these efforts independently or by joining the Outreach Department on their campus. Below are some examples of outreach programs Sigma Xi chapters can participate in.
Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts

Introduce a Girl to Engineering
The first ever Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day came to be in 2001. Engineers use this opportunity to introduce more than one million girls and young women to engineering.
