Each year, Sigma Xi holds an Annual Meeting and Student Research Conference. During the two days of the annual meeting, delegates from Sigma Xi chapters work with Sigma Xi staff and leaders to exchange information about managing chapters and about Sigma Xi programs. The annual meeting also offers an opportunity for the Sigma Xi Board of Directors to meet and for delegates to attend to some Society business. The annual conference has also includes a Student Research Conference, highlighting outstanding research by undergraduate and some high school students.

In addition to annual Sigma Xi meetings, chapters and partners host events throughout the year that highlight issues that are at the heart of Sigma Xi's mission.
